This is a direct copy of Angela McKay's card which we made at her meeting a couple of weeks ago. The next card is her card and I liked it so much I tried it in purple and now that my friend (who loves purple) has had her birthday, I can now post it! The cardstock and DSP are Elegant Eggplant. Here is Angela's card.
I have a good friend who lost her young daughter a couple of weeks ago. This has long been a favorite verse of mine and has helped me through some difficult times. The funeral allowed us all to grieve the loss of this young girl and at the same time celebrate her life knowing that she is in heaven. I purchased the scripture stamp from Daily Bread Designs. I used retired DSP from Stampin' Up and added flowers that I got from Fabricland when I was last there.
Well.....I had to put in this card I made for my sister for Valentine's Day. I had been looking for a way to use the sentiment because it is so funny. I got tihe idea for the card at Kristina Koch's - I didn't trade this card but I liked the idea and it was perfect for this card!
I was wondering what to make all my Grade One's for Valentine's Day and was struggling to find a simple yet cute idea! It took me only a couple of hours to make 20 of these and I am sure my students will really love them.
