Manly Valentine
A friend asked me to make a valentine for manly man - no frills. So .... I stamped the background using the Lovely as a Tree stamp set and then added the hearts which are Riding Hood Red. The ink for the trees and the paper behind the hearts are both Early Expresso. This is not too overdone for a man.

Swap, Swap, Swap.....
We swapped cards today at our marvelous mini-regional led by the also marvelous Angela McKay. We learned alot, made a lot of great make-and-takes! This was my swap: Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz, and Early Expresso.

Happy New Year! (I'm not late - I'm early for the Lunar New Year!)
I have a friend who celebrates the Chinese New Year and as it comes before Valentines I will be ready. I swapped this card with another demonstrator and I lost the sheet to give her credit. I just added the Chinese stamps I have because I thought the colors worked perfectly!

Thank You
Well, this took me awhile. I was using the color coach to try a new combination and I liked River Rock, Marina Mist and Cherry Cobbler but when I tried to put it together it just didn't work. So, I just used the other suggestion of Always Artichoke and that was a nice match - they are the only two colors I have used here except for the Crumb Cake button. I used my Score Pal to make lines on the River Rock at the bottom and then sponged it with River Rock to make it show up. I used the Just Believe stamp set and colored the stamp with my pens before I stamped. Thanks for stopping by.

Guess how old this scrapbook is!
I have been cleaning up and trying to pare down all of my "stuff." In that process I found this scrapbook that I made in high school ..... :) and you can tell that it is old. All of the paper has come out and the tape is old. One of those cheerleaders is me.....yes I know, hard to believe.....that I once could jump like that. The other papers are my report cards - all of the paper and pictures are falling off. I think I shall have to try and scrapbook this and put it into a nice little book.

Happy Birthday
What would we do without the Color Coach? I have never done the same colors right on top of each other and I saw a design sort of like this in a magazine so I looked through the color coach and thought this would look nice for my son-in-law's birthday! Chocolate Chip, Cajun Craze, and Tempting Turquoise - without the color coach I never would have tried these colors together!

Get Well Soon
There is a little girl I know who has been quite sick and I thought I would make this cute little card for her.

Girl's Birthday
I have finally had some time to play with this bear and continue to use up DSP from last year. Half my class has birthdays in the next few months so I am trying to make a few little cards for them. It is a little ti me consuming to cut out all the little pieces .... and.... you have to remember to put the DSP on the die cut with the print you want facing down or you get the opposite side. Now.... on to some boy's cards.

Not Quite Done with Christmas
I have enjoyed making these pointsettias with a punch I bought at Country Crafts in Surrey. It is a bit labor intensive because you cut each leaf and then emboss each leaf with an emobbossing tool. Then you glue each leaf on to make the flowers. I did make them with Cherry Cobbler and Always Artichoke.
Here is another card I made and decided to add some smooch spritz.
Then I decided to try and make a card very similar to a card sent to me by another demonstrator, Sandra Farrel. I liked the card and am trying to use up all my Christmas paper this year and so came up with the next card. I love this DSP set and made lots of cards with it. Sandra made her card on the MDS program and it was very pretty so I decided it might be pretty too to try a real one! Hope you all had a peaceful Christmas!
