DSP Envelope Treat Bags

Aren’t these cute?  The top one is Petal Promenade DSP and the bottom one is Tropical Escape DSP.   You just need  a
6X6 piece and use your Envelope punch board to make these cute little treat bags.   Tea bags and Ghiridelli chocolates would fit nicely in here - gift cards too!   Going to have to try this with Christmas DSP.

DSP Boxes

Once a month we have a WestCoast Creator Meeting and my upline Ange McKay sends us a package of cards to make designed by Ronda Wade.  These cute little boxes are made with 6x6 piece of DSP.  I made the one we got in our package with Twinkle Twinkle DSP and I made the other one with Garden Impressions DSP.  You can see they are a good size and will hold lots of little treats.

Timeless Textures

Every other Tuesday I have a time where people can come and use my equipment.  A friend regularly comes and we enjoy learning new techniques together.  This technique where you stamp on the embossing folder so that the images appear behind is great fun to try, I had done it before with another friend and this time I tried with the little dragonfly from Timeless Textures.

Dandelion Wishes meets Glass Blocks

I have always wanted to try inking a block and making a card with it.  I tried two different sizes and liked both.  I had a friend over and we tried a retired set as well.   I had some old Pool Party ribbon and added that as well.   Pool Party and Early Expresso are so lovely together.

Men’s Cards

I used some of my Wood Textures DSP and Woodland Embossing Folder to make this card.  I am trying to make a manly card.  I think I have added too many embellishments and it looks a little too feminine.  What do you think?

Sunshine Wishes

Same design as yesterday but in a new colour - Soft Sea Foam!   One of my new favourites!  What do you think?

Saturday, July 21, 2018

Well....I had seen many cards made with Sunshine Wishes and I needed to make a wedding card so I tried a couple of colours.  I think you could make these cards to match anyone’s wedding colours and they would make good thank you cards as a gift too!

Share What You Love

I had to try another one of these folds.  The Share What You Love DSP is so pretty as background and then you can fussy cut different pieces to finish it off!

Diagonal Fold Card

I picked up my phone one day and my friend Gillian Long was doing a Facebook Live showing how to make this diagonal card.  I thought it was really neat so I had to try it. I thought it might be really difficult but you just cut your 8 1/2” X 11” paper on your trimmer from corner to corner.  Then you just fold the corners in and you have this lovely fold.

Quick and cute Baby Card

I made this card in ten minutes.  I wanted to make a card for friends who have a cute baby girl and needed to do it quickly.  I am not good at simple cards but I just pulled  my Little Elephant Bundle out and knew it needed to be pink and voila!

Colour Very Vintage

I decided to stamp with my Stayzon and colour with my Stampin’ Blends.   I cut one of my Stitched Label Framelits in half .  I think I should have tucked them in a little more.  I cased this card right out the f the catalogue.

Garden Impressions

One of my cards from my last post just needed a little change to fit into a challenge for my West Coast Creators team.  This Garden Impressions Paper is very lovely and easy to make cards with.  I used my small scallop punch to create the smaller flowers.  Just scrunch them a little and glue them onto a Four-Petal flower cut out of Tranquil Tide.

Garden Impressions

I used my Garden Impressions DSP to create these two cards.  This paper is so pretty and is one of the sets on sale!  I found a layout of n Pinterest and cut my paper to fit.  I used my small scallop circle to make the flowers on each card.

Stamping Cookies

I stamped cookies instead of cards today for Canada Day!  My grandson helped and won star baker for his rolling and cutting out.  Of course, we had to make a few dinosaurs too!
