We had so much fun today making cards. Everyone took the basic design and pieces and just creatively put them together. All the cards turned out so beautifully. It was the first time for two of the women and they did such an amazing job of putting their cards together.

Five Year Card
I received this card from the Stampin' Up headquarters in Calgary when I had been a demonstrator for five years. It is a very pretty card.

Playing Today!
Today I spent some time cleaning up my stamping area and putting together cards that I had not finished yet. Then I found some of the cards I had swapped at Convention and found this one from Carol Sanderson. I just added the big star because I was trying to use up all the little pieces I had leftover from other cards as well. This is a very pretty card mainly using Hello Honey with some Lost Lagoon as well. It really is fun to swap your cards with other demonstrators - so many great ideas!

Quite a Difference!
It makes such a difference that I embossed the background paper. I shifted the sayings too and that also makes it look better too.

Inspired by my Garden!
I was working in the garden earlier and just love my flowers. These ones in particular bloom for such a long time. I hadn't used this stamp set yet so wanted to try and make these flowers and I like the outcome! Stamp, cut out the flowers using the framelits and magnetic platform and voila!

A Sneak Peek
I never browse through Pinterest without finding something I would like to try. This idea is from Nikki Spencer and I have changed the background but loved being able to use this new stamp set in a different way. The Wondrous Wreath Stamp Set will be available in September from the new holiday catalogue. I tried this stamp set at Convention and it is great that they have put tabs on the wreath so you can easily match the double stamped images. I loved Nikki Spencer's idea of using this Christmas wreath for a flower wreath and had to try it.

Baby Project Life
I am really enjoying working with Project Life. These are two more sets of pages I have made for my friend who has become a grandmother. The top page is completely made with Project Life cards and the second page I added some pink cards and baby shapes cut out with framelits. Project Life makes scrapbooking so easy - I have actually finished this complete book. All my friend has to do is add pictures - this will make a great gift.

More Project Life
My daughter took this neat picture of me crossing the stage as I have been a demonstrator for five years. She also got me on the big screen at the same time.

Second page of Project Life
These Project Life kits are are so cute - the cards are premade and you just slip them in. I cut out a pair of booties just to have it match the previous page but other than that it just took me a minute. This is a marvelous way to do scrapbooking and will be quick gift for my friend.

First Page of Project Life
I am making a baby scrapbook for a new grandma and I decided to make the smaller version of Project Life just because it is easier for us grandmas to carry and brag of course. I decided to start with the full page as a first page. The Lullaby DSP is so lovely and easy to use for a boy or a girl. The project life accessories made it easy to just add a few pieces to make it complete. My computer isn't able to blur photos so I have just covered the cutest little baby.

WestCoast Creator's Bloghop
Welcome to our Blog Hop. Here are two projects featuring the big Shot.
This is a gift card envelope made with the Gift Card Envleope and Trims Thinlits Die that will be available in the new holiday catalogue. It is great as a demonstrator to be able to try out the new products. It was my daughter's birthday this week and I made this and put a gift card in it for her. I wanted it to be a bit special so made two flowers using the Spiral Flower Die and it looked like a special little gift.
I made this card with the Friends Who Know stamp set. I cut it out using Labels Collection Framelit. I cut the two Daffodil Delight pieces using the Banners Framelits Collection. It is tricky to match colours with this big stamp but the Colour Coach is always helpful.
I hope you have enjoyed the stop at my blog. The links to the other blogs and addresses of the other amazing Westcoast Creators are below. If you click on the previous button it will take you to Sarah's blog. If you click on the next button you will be in Stephanie's blog.

A Different kind of Crafting
I wanted to post these because I have spent many hours putting these together. They were one of my retirement gifts. They came in a box from Costco. Thankfully, my daughter Sarah helped me figure out all the pieces and we screwed them together. Then I sanded them and in the last two days have stained them.. They are very comfortable - I might need to give them another coat but they look great and will be enjoyed for many years to come.

New Organization Idea
I have been watching videos of how other demonstrators organize their crafting supplies and had seen some cool ways to have everything on hand. Two top demonstrators had videos - Angie Juda and Mary Fish. They had bought a box from Stampin Storage and today as I was unpacking an order tht had some very heavy cardboard in it - I thought I could make something similar. I bought the magnetic sheets from the dollar store. They stick to the heavy cardboard. Now I have all my framelits at my fingertips.

Project Life Arrives
My Project Life arrived today. You get so many adorable card collections and many different pieces come with the accessory packs. I ordered the Lullaby DSP as well as I am making a baby album for my friend who just became a grandma. I will put all the pieces in and she will just have to add the pictures. Such a great idea. The kit featured here is Little Moments. My friend is going to love this. Wish they had these when my children were growning up. They had to wait until they graduated for their own little albums. This would be so easy to keep up with to put pictures in. More to come!

Great Ideas from Pinterest
One could spend hours and hours looking through Pinterest. I got the idea for this card from Stellarstamping and just changed the colours and sentiment. Then I made a little smudge and covered it up with a butterfly. I am trying to use some colours I don't ordinarily use and also want to use up some of the ribbon I have in my collection before I order new ones. I used the Blended Bloom stamp and it looks beautiful without colouring it in.

Time to Play!
I love having time to just stamp and try different ideas. This set is Amazing Birthday. I have used Night of Navy, Pool Party and So Saffron - a combination I found in the Colour Coach from Stampin' Up. I need to order the new one - it is so helpful when choosing colours. This card is in a class I am offering. Just comment if you would like to attend an afternoon next week.
