Painted Poppies

This design is from Sandra Hernandez.  I just used different colours.  Just two stamps makes this lovely card!  It is very simple yet so pretty.  

Watercolour Poppies

The card on the left was a design by Melissa Kerman.  Old Olive, Crushed Curry, and Poppy Parade are the colours for watercolouring on watercolour paper.  I just changed the colour on the right to Mossy Meadow.   Which one do you like better?

Painted Poppies Bundle

Today I made basically the same card as yesterday but used only products from the Peaceful Poppy Suite.  I used Daffodil Delight and Mango Melody.  I used the largest frame from the dies and just cut the little edge off in white to male the little label.

Poppy Week

I subscribe to a few blogs and awhile ago she offered a tutorial bundle when I subscribed featuring the Peaceful Poppies suite.  I am going to spend my week making these cards.  This is my favourite set in the new mini catalogue.  Today I have made a card designed by Patti Dolan using Poppy Parade cardstock.  It is neat how the background is made by using the splatter image in the stamp set.  I might try this in Daffodil Delight.

Watercolour Beautiful Day

I have had a lot of trouble getting my watermark program to work but figured out a way around it to be able to post.   I watercoloured with Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry and Blueberry Bushel.  Then I did the butterfly with  Versemark and embossed with black powder.   I got the idea from Nice People Stamp.

Necessary Crafting

This was my crafting today.  My daughter was asked by a group home if she could sew some and she actually had a pattern because she had sewed some for a cancer patient!  It took us a bit but we got into a groove with cutting, sewing and ironing with intermittent interruptions of 3 rambunctious grandchildren!

Fun Ladybugs!!

I had fun again today with these little ladybugs!  I managed to get an extra set of the ladybugs so I have put your name in the jar if you have ordered with me during Sale-a-bration - one ticket for every order you placed.   I will keep adding tickets until the end of March so you have time to get more tickets in!

A Little Wonder in a Challenging Time

I won this stamp set at our last team meeting.  I thought I had cased this card but can’t find it anymore on Pinterest.  I thought something a little whimsical would be helpful at this time.  This is a hostess set in our Annual Catalogue and it is very cute!  I also used the Stitched Label Dies.

April Showers

I finished these three cards in this months Paper Pumpkin kit.  There are 12 cards in this kit -3 more of each design!   Aren’t they cute!!!!!

Faux Leather

I did my Facebook Live on making these cute little purses with the All Dressed Up Dies.   They are quite easy to put together.  I showed how to make a faux leather purse by rubbing embossed cardstock with Versemark and then embossing it with Clear Embossing Powder.  Soft Suede works perfectly for this technique.

Foiled again!

This Flowering Foils Specialty DSP is versatile and pretty!  I sponged both these pieces with Pear Pizazz, so Saffron and Petal Pink.  Then I just added the sentiment and ribbon for each card.

Poppies

I needed a sympathy card and had these poppies on my desk and worked around them.

Repair Work

I have had these two cards on my desk for awhile because they needed repair.   Remember this Lime colour?  Shows you how long it has been waiting!   I had left over ladybugs and used them to finish sh the card on the right.   I used my Mosaic paper to finish the card on the left.

Sale-a-bration #2

I just got my box and my second release of Sale-a-bration items!  The Flowering Foils DSP is so pretty.  I cut out the flowers and a different piece of the same DSP to go behind.   A little copper foil behind and voila!

Last Mountain Card

This is also a case from the catalogue.  I like to try different colours than my normal go to so tried these blues and purples!

Beautiful Mountain Scene

I just experimented today brayering the top of the card with So Saffron and Pumpkin Pie.  Then I stamped the mountain with Soft Suede  and then embossed with white on top of that.  I stamped a bunch of trees in Mossy Meadow and then sponged in Pool Party to make a little lake.  What do you think?

Easy Mountain Card

I also cased this card from the catalogue.  It was simple and I wanted to try a simple card.

I love how many ideas Stampin’ Up has in their catalogue.  This card is almost a copy of the card in the catty featuring the Mountain Air Bundle.
