To Bow or not to Bow

I am trying to come up with a little box to sell tea in for a craft fair.  Do you think this bow is too big???

Team Project

This is our team project this month - designed by Ronda Wade.  You use up one entire sheet of DSP for these cute little items.  A box, envelope and card, and a cute tag!!  I just thought it was really neat and am going to have to try my other DSP with this idea.

Shoebox Swap

I have never done a shoebox swap before.  I am very excited to do this with my friends!   Here is my box all ready!!

Free Skate

This is my try at a card I loved in the holiday catalogue on page 44.     I think my father had us skating on a rink he made in the back yard when we were preschoolers so I of course had to have this set!  Mint Macaron is one of my favourite colours.  I used the Shimmer White Stampin Emboss powder.  It sparkles nicely doesn’t it.

God’s Peace

I actually meant to post this one yesterday!  I used Copper Foil and Brightly Gleaming DSP.  I embossed the candles with Copper Embossing powder on Pretty Peacock!

Colorful Seasons

I love the leaf stamp and die from this set!  You can do so many things with it.    I used Shaded Spruce for this card.    I took my Shaded Spruce marker and just kind of dabbed it on the paper, filled my blender pen with gold ink and added a little Crushed Curry with a pen as well.  Then I spritzed it.  The gold foil paper just finishes it!!

God’s Peace

There is a challenge in our Westcoast Creator Team twice a month and I made this card for our latest challenge.   I made this card using God’s Peace and Pretty Peacock with Copper Embossing Powder!

Shaker Card

Some cards you learn by your mistakes what not to do!   I need to put the foam adhesive strips in the middle of the Heirloom frame.  It just doesn’t shake very well!

I don’t do a lot for Halloween but I like these kits because my grandson and I can put them together and give them out to his class.

Fun with Globes!!!

I just really love this set from the new  Holiday Catalogue!  I had tried a couple of cards and then watched a video by WOW Nola and liked her idea of putting the globe on top of the card instead of tucking it underneath.  I didn’t have the DSP that she had but I liked how mine turned out.  I did a little video too.

Ouch! Life can be hard!

I have a friend who hit a very rough patch and wanted to make a card.  I settled on the Back on Your Feet Stamp Set.  It is so cute!  I used the petal labels to look like leaves.

Paper Pumpkin Alternate

I am cleaning all the bits and pieces off my desk.  Yesterday it was vases and today it is all the leftover pieces from my last Paper Pumpkin kit!    I just tried this and that and finally had a combination I liked.  There are always leftover bits from Kits and these were reAlly easy colours to work with. 

Vibrant Vases

I have had these little pieces punched out for awhile!  I saw a card on Pinterest by Tatiana Creative and decided to try my own card using washi tape.  These cards were easy to make as I just punched out the DSP and glued them on.    These little vases are so cute!!

Fall is Approaching

I made this card for a Westcoast Creator Challenge for a fall card.  I was creating cards with the Harvest Hellos and matching punch and decided to add the truck from Ride with Me.     The Mosaic Mood DSP went so well with the Terracotta Tile cardstock and I was pleased with the outcome!
