Winter Woods in Fall

I have always loved Winter Woods but today I loved turning it into a Fall Card!  I stamped the trees in Soft Suede and then took fall colour markers and tapped them on the trees to make them look like Fall trees!

Same card - Different Colours

I did this card the same way as yesterday only I didn’t have to sponge first as I wanted my trees to be white.  I sponged a little gray under the Pool Party to make a little hill sort of.

Joseph Coat Technique

I did this technique tonite in my Live.  You start by sponging Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, and Mango Melody in little circles all over the little piece.  Then I added a little circle of Pear Pizzaz.   Stamp the trees over that with Versemark, emboss 

and then sponge over all of it with Early Espresso!

Getting cards in the mail is fun but getting a lot of cards in the mail is a great deal of fun! Jacqueline Laburda made all these and sent them to me as a prize!

Brightly Gleaming Swaps

I thought I would continue showcasing Brightly Gleaming cards.  I bought this set last year and am still using it a lot.  The card at the top was made by Liz Corpus and the o e at the bottom was made by Tonia Townsend.  I got their cards by participating in a swap.

This is another card I made inking up my stamps with Frost White Shimmer Paint!this time I stamped on Night of Navy!!  Gorgeous effect!!

Tonite I did my Facebook Live on how to use a sponge with Frost White Shimmer Paint and ink your stamps with it to make these beautiful ornaments!  I stamped onto Merry Merlot and think it looks just great!!

When you put drops of reinkers: orange, yellow, and Cajun Craze, onto a block and spritz a little water - the result is stunning.  I did this for the feature leaf.

Fall Wreath

I wanted to make a nice fall sympathy card for a friend.  I did my Live on how to make some nice Fall leaves with great fall colours!

The cards were designed by Gail Ellis and so gorgeous I had to case them!  I designed the box to match the cards.  It will be a great gift!  I would never have used Pear Pizazz for Christmas but it sure looks great!

TOC Tac Toe Challenge

I designed this card for our Westcoast Creator challenge.  I had never done a Tic Tac Toe challenge before!  You had to choose three things in a row so I chose Sequins, pumpkin and orange!

Changes to World Cardmaking Day Class

West Coast Creator Blog Hop Fall Card

Welcome to our West Coast Blog Hop for September!   We are all making fall cards using materials from our August-December 2020 Mini Catalogue.    I hope you enjoy all the amazing creations of our team!

I am using the Love of Leaves Bundle.  I just love the stitching on these leaves.  I am trying to make some cards for kits where I do the cutting out and my customers just have to apply their own sentiment.    I also used the Ornate Layers Dies to put behind my leaves and I embossed that with the Seabed 3D Embossing Folder.     The sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments stamp sets - a great sentiment especially for times like these.  There are great sentiments in the Love of Leaves stamp set too but I had used a lot of them in the set below.

These are other cards I have made with the Love of Leaves Bundle and am offering this for class in October.   These leaves are great fun to make cards with.

Wink of Stella and Reinkers

The three pictures on this card have all been coloured by dipping my Wink of Stella brush into a drop of reinker and then colouring what you desire!  I coloured the car with Shaded Spruce and the gas can with Real Red.
